Importance of language

Exercise 1
a) Reason 1: to be able to communicate with people from foreign countries, it gives you
more social skills.
Reason 2: it makes you smarter, researchers have found out that if you know more
languages you get better problem-solving skills and more creativity.
Reason 3: it gives you more career opportunities, like when you work in ASML you
have to talk English most of the time.

b) Because it’s a very international language, so its handy to communicate because

almost everyone speaks English. and of course because of the internet, most of the
information given on the internet is English.

c) Japanese, because I would like to go there and then it would be easier to

communicate and I would like to learn Russian, also because of the reason that I
would like to go there and because I think its an interesting language

d) It’s very handy to learn new languages for career opportunities and for universities
abroad. You could make a quiz or a game to make it more interesting for younger
people.
