Description

The WDR-D540VF3 WDR camera is a dome CCTV camera with a Pixim wide dynamic range sensor.
Please note that this camera has been discontinued. We highly recommend 1080p AHD cameras
(http://www.cctvcamerapros.com/1080p-HD-Security-Cameras-s/986.htm) or 1080p TVI cameras (http://www.cctvcamerapros.com/HD-
TVI-Cameras-s/1022.htm) and iDVR-PRO HD surveillance DVRs (http://www.cctvcamerapros.com/HD-Security-Camera-DVRs-
s/972.htm) as a much higher resolution and better solution.

This WDR camera captures 540 TV lines of color resolution. This WDR dome camera has a 2.9 to 10mm DC auto iris varifocal lens so
that you can adjust the image to have a super wide angle or zoomed in close on specific areas for surveillance. The day/night capability
supports low light surveillance as low as 0.08 LUX illumination. This WDR camera is DC12V. This wide dynamic range camera adjusts
automatically to bright and dark areas to adjust for and eliminate overexposure and under exposure conditions. The settings for this
camera are setup using the built in OSD (on screen display) menu and control pad that is included. The OSD control pad includes a 36"
cable.

WDR Camera Applications

WDR cameras are designed to be used for surveillance applications where there is a large difference in foreground and background light
levels (there is a wide dynamic range of light). This is typical in storefront and office buildings that have large glass walls with direct
sunlight outside. The below images illustrate this situation and show images taken with the WDR feature of the camera turned on and off.
