POSITION PAPER TO APPROVE THE ALLOCATION OF STUDENT GOVERNMENT

FUNDS BY PERCENTAGE ACCORDING TO ITS PURPOSE

The House of Representatives establish the objective guidelines for the allocated funds of the
academic year for the reason to be equipped in its effective management. This paper has been
developed for the relevance of its allocated budget. And in pursuant to the Constitution and By-
Laws of the Federation of Student Government Article V, Section 19 states that “No money shall
be paid out of the NORSU Student Government Fund of NORSU- CSG, except in pursuance of
an appropriation made by law and manifested by a NORSU- CSG resolution.” Therefore, I, as a
representative of the College of Business Administration with the duties to foresee the student
government funds allows the allocation of budget that was discussed during our emergency
meeting last October 30, 2019 at the Reading Center of the institution.

The breakdown for the allocated budget for the academic year are as follows: 71% is for
activities composed of the founder’s week activities, federation sessions, per college activities,
election and etc., 10% is for Trainings and Seminars such as (meetings, leadership trainings,
lectures and etc.), 10% is for Labors and Wages, 7% is for Supplies and Materials such as (office
supplies, cleaning materials and etc.), and 2% is for Transportation and Delivery Expense.

In line with the given statements, I, hereby declare my approval to all variables being discussed
and duly support our endeavors to seek proper allocation of budget for the Student Government
funds.
