SUMMARY OF TOPICS
The following change in requirements to the Standard for Power Supplies for Use with Burglar-
Alarm Systems, UL 603, is being proposed:
UL’s goal is to have no interest category comprise more than one-third of the STP membership
balance. To improve the current balance for STP 205A, UL is looking for participants in the Testing and
Standards Organizations, Supply Chain, AHJ, Government, Consumer, Commercial/Industrial Users,
and International Delegate interest categories. Definitions for these interest categories are available on
the Standards STP Internet site:

If you are interested in applying for STP 205A membership or are aware of potential candidates for this
STP, please contact the STP Project Manager, Megan.M.Sepper@ul.com.
For your convenience in review, proposed additions to existing requirements are shown underlined and
proposed deletions are shown lined-out.
RATIONALE
This proposal adds details relative to battery standby requirements for Access Control System Units, UL
294, which is not presently specified on the table.
