Task of Curriculum Development

Part I: Mapping the Curriculum


Directions:
1. You are about to analyze the statement of core competence (Kompetensi Inti) and basic competences
(Kompetensi Dasar) based on Curriculum 2013.
2. Each of you will analyze the statements of core competence (KI) and basic competences (KD)
based on the division (see table 1 to check your parts).
3. Before start analyzing the basic competences, download first THE LIST OF OPERATIONAL
VERBS
for the three learning domains (AFFECTIVE, COGNITIVE, AND PSYCHOMOTOR domains).
4. Use the list to determine the level of learning domain applied in the statement of core competence
and basic competences.
5. In analyzing the statement of basic competences, you are going to deal with the following points:
• Identifying the level of learning domain for the statement of the core competence (KI) and
basic competence (KD)
• Identifying the main learning material
• Identifying the main language skill practiced based on the statement of basic competence (KD)
6. You are required to report your mapping in the form of table (see table 2).
