Correction to 2021 Homicide Statistics

It was determined that the Jane Doe and John Doe homicide
investigation initiated in the 2400 Block of Sullivant Avenue did not
occur in 2021. Investigators are still trying to determine when the death
of Jane Doe and John Doe occurred. Based on the investigative
timeline, the correct number of Homicides in the City of Columbus is
fourteen (14) not sixteen (16). We have no further details to release at
this time. We will update these cases when new information is
confirmed through the course of the investigation, which is being
conducted by Homeland Security.
