The progress I have made during this past week:

- I have finished the body panels of the atv I made the entire body part with
sheet metal, it did not turn out the way I wanted to but I tried making it look
like the cyber atv
- I put new engine oil into the engine and now the atv smoking problem has
been resolved, it no longer smokes when going uphill
- I also cleaned the carburetor since when I was driving all the power wasn’t
being sent to the wheels. There was some power loss
- Brakes weren’t working too well. Whenever I pressed on the brake the atv
wouldn’t stop instantly it would take 3-5 seconds for it to fully stop when I
held the brake
What I need to move forward with my capstone:

- I have finished with the body parts of the atv. I might make some slight
changes if necessary
- I am planning on putting some lights on the atv so I am able to drive it in
the dark.
Obstacles I have encountered and how I have moved forward:

- While I was researching welding I figured out I can’t weld a thin piece of
metal together.
- I was able to move forward by sticking to screwing holes into the
body frame.
- While I was trying to screw the sheet metal into the frame the screws
wouldn’t go through the frame since the frame was too thick
- I moved forward by instead of using screws, I made holes into the
frame with a drill first then I used bolts to secure the sheet metal into
place

Skills I used and learned:

- I used my previous knowledge on changing the oil in the engine

- I also learnt a new skill which was changing out the brake fluid since it was
very hard to brake.
My goals and deadlines for next week:

- I want to add some lights to the atv so I will be working on that this week. I
have ordered the lights and I am waiting for them to come in.
- I will be searching up how to install the lights and brainstorming where I
should put them
