The progress I have made during this past week:

- There wasn’t much progress this week because it was raining outside and I
didn’t want the wires to get wet or it could short circuit
- I started up the atv and let it run for a bit but it just shuts off after a bit.
- I have decided im going to build a body for the atv out of sheet metal
- I am measuring and seeing how much material I need
- I have contacted a local tool loaner shop asking I am able to rent out a
welder, they said yes

What I need to move forward with my capstone:

- I need to research how to weld so I am able to weld the body together
Obstacles I have encountered and how I have moved forward:
- Rain is the only challenge I had this week, since I am unable to bring the
atv inside
- I am planning on building a small workspace in the backyard with a
roof on the top so I can work on the atv regardless of the weather
Skills I used and learned:
- I am researching and watching videos on how to use a welder
- I have used math to plan out how much materials I need
My goals and deadlines for next week:
Hopefully by the end of next week I want to get started on the body and start welding some
pieces on. I should be done all the measurements by then and getting started on cutting the
materials
