This week was very successful. I started attaching parts for the skirt together.

together I just have to sew them. I don’t want to just focus on one sewing project because it
will take too much time, so I plan to maybe work on 2-3 at a time. One that is more complex
and one that is easier. After pinning the skirt together, I decided to start another project.
Bucket hats. For the bucket hats I decided to go with pajama bottoms and tops to make them.
It’s a very flimsy material so the hats won’t stand but it will work better than a regular t-shirt
material. In one day, I made 2 bucket hats which took about 4 hours total. I am currently at 11
hours total for my capstone project. My goal this winter break is to be productive and not lack
on my project. I am very excited to see how next week will turn out. My one challenge is that
since it is winter break, I’m going to have my focus on other things but I plan to carve out time
in each day to focus on my capstone project.
