Design Your Own Game ‼ !

Submit to Mrs L’Ange on GOOGLE CLASSROOM (1 document +1 video) by of 29 MAY.

 You are to design a game that involves chance for particular outcomes.
 This game is to be original and not an existing game.
 The game must be a simple game as you will have to explain the probability behind it.
 The requirements are that you are creative, that you and the players have fun.

TASK 1 – Description of game and explain relevant probability. (TABLE 1)


– Create a video (max 3 minute) to demonstrate game.
TASK 2 – Answer the questions in TABLE 2.

You may only use items in the house already. No new equipment needs to be purchased.

ITEMS To play the game you are required to have a small ball about the size

Each team consists of 3 players and there will be 2 teams playing

TABLE 2 GENERAL QUESTIONS – Critical, clear, relevant, original, understood.
1) What is the difference between a game and gambling?
A game can be played by people of all ages but to gamble you need to be 18 and
above.
2) What is your opinion about the gambling industry?
I do not condone it, but I think if you master one game and you back yourself go for
it.
3) Would you be happy for your folks and grandparents to be gamblers? Explain.
If it was my folks or grandparents I also would not condone it but if they really
wanted to do it and backed themselves I would give them a couple tries but after
sometime I would recommend them to stop.
4) To what extent are tests and exams a gamble? Explain.
I think tests and exams are a gamble to some extent because we spend our
valuable time into studying but a good mark is not guaranteed to be archived by the
person.
5) Does James Bond survive by chance? Explain.
I think James Bond does not survive by chance because everything is acted out
and the directors determine what happens. So, the chances of him surviving by
luck are high favourable because its fictional
6 What 3 experiences in your day depend on chance?
a. Predicting if it is going to rain or not.
b. Predicting which sports team will win when I watch a match on tv.
c. When I play video-games there is a chance of me winning or losing.
