Location:
Avoid areas of strong sunlight or air ducts that could influence the
temperature in the incubator.
Eggs must be fresh and fertile. Do not use eggs over 16 days old
and best results are obtained if eggs are less than 7 days old
2. Select eggs that are normal in size (40-50 grams) and shape.
Remove eggs with hairline cracks, soft and porous shells.
4. Store eggs in plastic egg trays with large (rounded ) ends up and
small (pointed) ends down.
5. Store eggs for 7 days under normal room condition and 14 days
when placed inside the refrigerator (23oC).
6. When storing eggs under normal condition, turn egg trays to a 450
angle from horizontal 2 times a day.
One week before egg collection:
1. Remove eggs from refrigerator 6 hours before loading time. Let dry
under normal condition.
2. Fill the humidity plastic tray with water just enough to avoid spill.
6. Spray mist on eggs. Let dry for 30 minutes before loading in the
incubator.
Egg turning:
Candling - 7days after loading, candle eggs then remove infertile. Egg
candling should be done fast, 5 to 10 minutes exposure outside
the incubator.
Right after egg candling and removal of infertile, set or load the eggs
collected and stored for the past 7 days. (Load 2)
1. All chicks should be out of their shell on day 21and remove from the
hatcher tray on the early morning of day 22. Or as soon as the
chicks are dry and fluffy: 5-12 hours after hatching.
2. Do the markings as soon as the chicks are removed from each every
covered compartment of the hatcher tray.
3. Remove all the hatching debris, brush, soap clean and sun dry the
hatcher trays and ready for the next use.
