GOAL
The goal is to budget and give an
estimate amount not more than
3,000 to create a 2 layer chocolate
cake.
Role
• You are a pastry chef of one
of the famous hotel in the
country and you were asked
to bake a cake for the
upcoming party to be held at
the hotel. As a Pastry chef
you’re tasked to bake a 2
layer chocolate cake with
only a budget of
Php.3000.00.

Situation
Given the ingredients of a two
layer chocolate cake and an
amount of 3,000 pesos, you’re
going to the grocery store to
canvass the prices of the said
ingredients and develop a
budget plan for the creation of
the cake. You must make sure
that the total amount of all the
prices of the ingredient to be
use is not more than
Php.3,000.00.

You need to budget and


itemize the ingredients
and expenses for the
creation of your chocolate
cake. You’re going to make
a presentation about the
ingredients you will use
and how much it cost. You
will present it to your Head
Chef for approval.
