1. Download the political and physical


maps/features of the different continents and
Spain.

2. Fill in the maps with the information provided in


the political and physical features hand outs.

3. Colour the maps according to the information


provided below.

4. Surf on the net or use an atlas to look for


information.

Political maps:

• Each country must be coloured. Two neighbour countries cannot have the same colour.

• You´d better paint the countries first and then write the name of the countries/capitals.

• Countries(Autonomous Communities) must be written in block letters and capitals (


provinces) in small ones.

• In the case of Spain outline in black the Autonomous Communities and in red the
provinces.

Physical maps:

Use:
• navy blue for seas & oceans
• light blue for rivers & lakes
• brown for range of mountains
• a black triangle for peaks
• a red point for capes
• light green for plains.
• yellow for deserts
• light brown for tablelands
• orange for peninsulas
