1984 in the middle of their run of 11 consecutive wins.

5 This was the fifth time India came back to win a series after losing the first Test of the
rubber and the second time they did so away from home after winning 2-1 in Sri Lanka in
2015. The last visiting team to come back from 0-1 to win the series in Australia was West
Indies in 1992/93.

6 Cheteshwar Pujara became the first Indian batsman to survive 200+ balls in an innings six
times in Australia surpassing five instances each by Sunil Gavaskar and Virat Kohli. Three of
his four slowest half centuries came in this series including the slowest in the fourth innings
at the Gabba, off 196 balls.

89* by Rishabh Pant is the third highest score by an Indian wicketkeeper in the fourth
innings of a Test. The two higher scores also belong to him - 114 at the Oval in 2018 and 97

innings of a Test.

five-wicket haul (best of 4/21). This was the third time he has picked 20-plus scalps without a
five-fer in a series following 23 against England at home in 2017/18 (best of 4/39) and 29 in
England in 2019 (best of 4/32). Only other bowlers to do so thrice are Joel Garner and
