Hurricane Evacuation Plan

In the event of a hurricane, USF may call for the evacuation of the campus (including the residence halls). In an effort to better
prepare, USF Housing & Residential Education would like to gather information regarding your plans for evacuation. If you have
questions regarding USF's response to hurricanes, we encourage you to review the USF Hurricane Guide. Should your hurricane
evacuation plans change, we ask that you update your plans in your USF Housing Portal under My Account > My Contacts.

Students with a service, emotional support, or therapy animal that will be seeking to utilize a county shelter in the University area
should seek additional information regarding shelters that accept such animals. Please contact Hillsborough County for more
information.

Providing preferences for roommates is an important aspect of the application process. Some students believe that the right
roommate can make or break their residential experience. We ask that you be honest with your answers. While we do not guarantee
that you will be matched with the "ideal" roommate, we do believe that most matches will work as long as you are open to new
people, experiences, and ideas.

We do allow students to participate in a separate Room Selection process, which will allow students to select the exact bed space
