Topic 2

There are a lot of criminals in the world. Most of them are sitting in the prison
in terrible conditions and waiting that time, when they will release. But after that
most of them do not have own space, close people and ambitions to improve
their life. So, that people simply offend against the law again. I sure that such
system is not effective. I agree with the statement: “Society needs to find more
positive forms of rehabilitation”. But how we can improve this situation?

First of all, prisoners with mental problems should receive psychiatric help.
There are should be programs that can provide good psychiatrists who can
improve a consciousness of criminals. In this case they can change their life after
releasing.

What is more, a government should find new a well-paid job and a flat for
releasing people. If they have their space there is more chance that they will not
offend again. Moreover, it helps them to find friends, hobbies and become a
normal citizen.

Finally, prisons should be more comfortable and safety. There should be

library with a huge number of different books, some game rooms with Ping-Pong,
billiards and so on. Cells should be cosy with own toilet. Human conditions make
prisoners better.

In conclusion, I would like to say that people can find another way to improve
criminals’ mind. They can become normal, without ambitions to offend against
the law. Nowadays there are some number of such programs and people who is
interested in it. Can society change this situation?
