Creating a Practice Protocol in
Student Projects
“A project to create a virtual exhibition website, which can create sales opportunity
and can create convenience in this pandemic.”

This project follows a published research method:


Leavy, P. (2017) Research design quantitative, qualitative, mixed methods, arts-
based, and community-based participatory research approaches. New York: Guil-
ford, pp. 209-219.

Practice Protocol
Step 1:
Research on related project that are available, explore more and get inspired;
adding in new idea to fill in the gap to create a new things.

Step 2:
Start project journal.

Step 3:
Know the target audience; create questionnaire survey and distribute to public
(consent note is included). Follow up to check the amout of survey done to achieve
the amount of sample as discussed.

Step 4:
Collect and analyze data. Understand the behaviour or likes of target audience
know what to emphasize and further improve the project.

Step 5:
Schedule project timeline. Plan what content needed to include in the website;
research on website UI/UX.

Step 6:
Start to draw wireframe; find and research on how to create the virtual environment
to have a better experience.

Step 7:
Start design the website interface and create the prototype; create virtual exhibition
environment.

Step 8 :
Let others to experience the website and collect advices or opinions. Know what is
the pros and cons, improve it.
