1.1 Content for Web Pilot
The website is the main platform where it all begins and connects to all the other platforms, tapes for the audience to
listen to and ARG for journal as well as Instagram. So, the content that needs to be included here needs to be well
planned.

1.1.2 Synopsis
Version 1
It was a very late night, Kylie came out from her workplaces after a tiring day of work. She was walking to
the LRT station to get back home. On her way to the LRT station, there was a poster on the wall that
attracted her attention. She then walks closer and has a look at the poster. On her way home on the train,
she starts thinking about the poster she saw just now. When she reached home, she saw an unfamiliar box
in front of her doorsteps. She took it up and had a closer look at it, it mentions “Delivered by Hana”. She
then wonders who Hana is?

Version 2
It was late at night, Kylie walked out from her workplace after a tiring day at work. She walked to the subway
to catch a train home. On her way to the subway, a poster on the wall attracted her attention and she moved
closer to have a look. On the train, she can’t help but think of the poster. As she reached home, there was
an unfamiliar box at her doorstep. She picked it up and read “Delivered by H’ana”. Who is H’ana?, she
wondered…

1.1.3 Video
Two video will be embed in this sites, the first one will be begining of the story and the second one will be
ending. For the ending video, the audience finds clues to gain access. Clues will be subtlely add at journal
and Instagram.

2.2 References

2.4 Illustration
We begin to create our illustration by drawing storyboard. Then, we start to draw the illustration out following our
storyboard. While we are creating it in illustrator, there are parts where the perspective is a bit different from what we
thought. At first, we were having a hard time drawing the character out because both of us are not good at drawing
characters. But, after a few more attempts and practise we manage to pull it off by keeping on creating versions of
the character. We also did some research on the perspective so that when we are creating the animation, it won’t
affect the transition of the scenes.
2.5 Animation
At first our plan is shooting video for this transmedia project. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 issue, we are not able
to do so. Thus, we have decided to use stop motion animation as our video execution. We use both Photoshop and
After Effect to create the animation. We also research how to make it more smooth for those walking scenes.

2.6 Sound Effect

We had found some free sound effect to enhance the video animation. After adding some of the sound effects the
animation becomes more lively. While searching for some of the sound effects, we have some difficulties in adjusting
the environment sound.

3.1 Script
There are three audio tapes, each tape showing that she gets questioned by her friends and family.

Version 01
1. Doubting parents

- Jessy was being scolded by her mother for being nonsense. They were having a conversation about her
wanting to become a rap artist. Then, her mother became angry at her and they ended the conversation by
disagreeing.

2. Friends

- At the college's cafeteria she was having some chit-chat with her friends about what they wanted to do when
they graduate. She brought up wanting to become a rap artist after she graduated from college. However, it
was a mistake for telling her friends. All of her friends went on laughing at her. They even provoke her that it
is impossible for her to even dream about it. She then became a laughing stock in her classes.

3. Self reflections

- I began to question myself. Is it silly to have a dream about wanting to become a rap artist? Why is everyone
thinking that it is impossible for me? I began to double myself.

just focus on one thing and.
Kylie: ​Mum! Could you just stop judging? I like what I am doing now. (She ended the tapes)

Dialogue: 26 second
Kylie:
Hey, my future self. Here’s the things that I would want you to know. Not everything that you do should be a
success as long as you are doing what you like. That’s all it matters the most. Don’t let others stop you from
doing what you like. I like the way I am now so are you. Remember! Just be yourself and do what you wish
to do the most.
Friend called:​ Hey, Kylie! Are you coming?
Okay, that’s all. Gotta go. Bye.
3.2 VO Platform research
We have found some voice generators to create the dialogue, but at the end we decided to use this because
compared to others the tone is more lively, it will give a better experience to the audience when they listen to it.
But, there are things that we need to consider, that is the ​chorus of the voice. We need to adjust it manually so that
the voice can be more natural.

About her thoughts on her hobby. Journalist, playing guitar and skateboarding. Add essential oil subtle in the layout.
Can write about what challenges she met, fun things that happened around her.

Journalist
- Dreams don’t work unless you do
- Can’t believe it, today I got the chance to be the main journalist on reporting what is happening at the scene.
Although, I was quite nervous at first when facing the camera. But, I manage to pull it off. My hard work of
practicing in front of the mirror has finally paid off or else I won’t get the chance to take this opportunity.
- However bad life may seem there is always something you can do and succeed at while there is life, there is
hope.
- It took me a lot of time in order to write and report new stories. There are times where I would get stuck on
creating content. This is when I needed essential oil the most. My favorite scent is lavender, it helps my
mind to relax when I’m stressed. After five minutes of break time I am overflowing with ideas.
- Skills needed to have (Stamina, determination, confidence, enthusiasm, interpersonal skills)

Essential oil
- Keep my mind relax with my new essential oil diffuser
- As I thought, to set the right mood to play a nice song is having my room fill with my favorite scents.
Skateboarding
- I got to show some of the new tricks that I had been practising to my friends. They were all shocked to see
my new trick. I did get some injuries but at least I managed to succeed in trying out new tricks.

Guitar
- Today, I got myself a new guitar. I am going to use my new guitar to play my favourite song. The tune came
out greater than I thought, After some more try out, I am going to post some song covers on instagram.

Marketing
6.1 Idea
For this marketing part, we are having two sections. The first is to let others know about this transmedia project. So to
gain the awareness we will post on social media, which is Instagram and Facebook. According to business insiders,
65% of Gen Z use Instagram everyday, thus it is the best platform that can spread this project. For the second part of
this marketing will also be on Instagram. Users can use the template that H'ana created, share their post with using
Instagram GIF and tag three of their friends to continue it. This can make more and more people know about this
project.
