BTLED

Program Outcomes:

A. Common to all programs in all types of schools


The BTLEd graduates have the ability to:

a) Articulate and discuss the latest developments in the specific field of practice
(PQF level 6 descriptor);
b) Effectively communicate orally and in writing using both English and Filipino;
c) Work effectively and independently in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams
(PQF level 6 descriptor);
d) Act in recognition of professional, social, and ethical responsibilities; and
e) Preserve and promote “Filipino historical and cultural heritage” (based on RA
7722);

B. Common to the discipline

f) Articulate the rootedness of education in philosophical, socio-cultural, historical,


psychological, and political contexts.
g) Demonstrate mastery of subject matter/ discipline.
h) Develop alternative teaching approaches for diverse learners. Matter/discipline
i) Facilitate learning using a wide range of teaching methodologies and delivery
modes appropriate to specific learners and their development.
j) Develop innovative curricula, instruction plans, teaching approaches and
resources for diverse learners.
k) Apply skills in the development and utilization of ICT to promote quality,
relevant and sustainable education practices.
l) Demonstrate a variety of thinking skills in planning, monitoring, assessing, and
reporting learning processes and outcomes.
m) Practice professional and ethical teaching standards sensitive to the local,
national, and global realities.
n) Pursue lifelong learning for personal and professional growth through varied
experiential and field-based opportunities.

BAT/BSA

Program Outcomes:

At the end of the program, the BSA students are expected to:

f. Have the orientation & motivation of an agriculturist;


g. Prepare academic papers;
h. Operate & manage an agri-based enterprise efficiently and effectively
i. Improve one’s communication skills & strategies;
j. Develop an agriculturist’s attitudes, skills and professional work ethics in the acquisition of
knowledge;
k. Cultivate ethical/collaborative intra and interpersonal relations with peers, clients and the
general public;
l. Develop the decision-making ability to get the most from experience;
m. Diagnose and analyze agriculturist’s opportunities and threats in the environment;
n. Formulate and implement systems-oriented strategic plans and programs;
o. Provide leadership in creating agricultural opportunities;
p. Advocate policies in support of agriculture;
q. Safeguard and protect the environment for sustainable development;
r. Contribute to national development.
