Dear Parents/Guardians of students in Grades 1-12,

Subject: AIS Rabigh – SABIS® Students Continue Learning and Practicing Virtually
Today’s world calls for E-learning solutions to be available in every school and for every student.
With this shift to virtual learning and as part of continuous evaluation of student learning, we will continue to
provide our students with the same support to ensure that the distance learning process is effective and efficient,
since it is an integral part of the instructional process at AIS.
Since AIS aims not to have any of its students left behind academically, we would like to take this opportunity to
update and inform you of the tools and offerings available for students on SABIS® Digital Platform and MS Teams,
which allow our students to better prepare for their exams and facilitate the understanding of the concepts being
taught throughout the week.

ONLINE ASSISTANCE THROUGH MICROSOFT TEAMS

Live Online Sessions via MS Teams

Teachers use interactive flipcharts (IWB) to enhance and facilitate the learning process.
Recorded Videos on MS Teams
All your child/children’s classes are being recorded and available on MS Teams (MS Stream) for their reference.
Your son/daughter can access all the recorded videos for his/her corresponding courses as extra drilling,
practice, and to ensure the mastery of concepts.
Online Graded Assignments:

Online graded assignments, in all subjects, are posted on MS Teams. They are given to students to test their
knowledge and understanding of what they have learned. They also reflect the performance of the students
and contribute to their grades. In addition, online assignments not only assist in developing the basic habits like
diligence, attentiveness, and increased concentration, but also help in developing a good understanding
between students and their teachers.

CONTINUOUS ACADEMIC FOLLOW-UP

Please note that AQCs are following-up closely on every student and every detail related to academic matters.
Academic Support Options:
 Q&A Sessions
 Reinforcement Sessions
 Special Sessions

Q&A/Reinforcement/Special sessions are arranged to give students the opportunity to drill the concepts taught
in class or ask related questions to their teachers. These sessions are integral, as they allow students to stay
engaged and give the teachers the chance to connect closely with their students.
Make-up Exams:
Teachers will pinpoint the gaps after every exam. Concepts are retaught to the students, then a make-up exam
is assigned as in order to ensure the concepts are well-mastered. Make-up exams, for students who did not
achieve the required results, are available to all levels and in all subjects.

Together, these elements, already present as part of the learning experience, make the move from a traditional
classroom to a virtual one at SABIS® schools around the world, ensuring that student learning is uninterrupted
at all times. At AIS, and with the SABIS® cutting-edge technology tools and teaching methodology, “Students
are not allowed to fail in peace”.

AIS-Rabigh Administration
