In recent decades, the modern United States has become a joke to many other

countries. Maybe it's the way our politicians are all in a static geiartric state and lack the energy

to come up with a coherent sentence or correctly type a social media post. Maybe this is why

good things take so long, not because we have to be patient, but instead due to the cacophony

of opinions that can never be the same. Maybe it's the way we see our elders sit in front of the

television watching biased news outlets and believing everything they see, doing what they told

us to be careful of whenever we use the internet. It could even be how our legacy was doomed

from the beginning just because generations do not want to be like their predecessors. No

matter what the cause is for the current social climate, there is one thing we know for sure. It is

in no way shape or form my generation's fault.

We've barely even been around for more than a decade and it's already up to us to save

the planet. Good luck, they say whenever the topic of social security or climate change is

brought up. Each generation before me has become expert procrastinators when it comes to

getting things done. Why do they think my generation will be any different? We are all naive,

lazy, fools that are always glued to our phones wondering what to do. Technology is my

generation's problem just like how the millenials refuse to give up on the nineties. We are the

only ones who have a significant issue that we have to deal with. No past generation will truly

understand what it's like to lose service while completing all your homework and then having to

look up the information on a computer. At least it's better than reading a dictionary for

information of course, I can't imagine the horror of reading a book for more than ten minutes, it's

exhausting. Furthermore this just proves how resilient my generation is when it comes to the

daily struggles of life. c

Not only does generation-z have to deal with the biggest generational problems, but we

also have to manage our predecessors. The constant ignorance of certain people really

presents a problem for my generation. Not only do we have to keep up with the struggles of

highschool and college, but we also have to deal with the consequences of previous

generations. Instead of taking the blame, the past generations refuse to come up with a valid

solution to any problem. Meanwhile gen-z has to come up with the solution to everything while

fighting with the real problem of their technological addiction.

Not only is my generation responsible for saving the planet from all its problems, but we

also have to deal with the constant backlash from older generations. Solving all of the problems

known to man is a task that only generation-z can handle, no other generation has the youthful

longevity that we have when it comes to facing our problems. We are so perseverent that we

are overcoming the crippling struggle of being addicted to our cell phones. Being a highschooler

in the 1960’s is by far easier than what we have to go to on a daily basis. So this is why

generation-z is by far the most strong generation, and will solve all of the Earth’s problems. We

are not only the the strongest generation but we are also by far the smartest and can do

anything that we put our minds too.
