online trolling. Fake News and trolling
have recently become serious concerns in
the Philippines with different Political
camps accusing each other of
perpetrating such things.

MATCH ME!
Divide the students into 2 groups, each group will be given a task and
they need to present their output and their performance will be rated by
the teacher using a rubric. They will be given 5 minutes to prepare and 3
minutes for the presentation by group.

Group 1- Match Me! (Part 1)
The members of the 1st group will be given two sets of papers, 1st set has the 4
types of information disorders and the 2nd set has the definition of those types of
information disorder. They need to match the type to its corresponding
definition.

The members of the 2nd group will be given two sets of papers, 1st set has the last
3 types of information disorders and the 2nd set has the definition of those types
of information disorder. They need to match the type to its corresponding
definition.

2. Imposter Content- It is when genuine sources are impersonated. It falsely uses a well-
known name, brand or logo to fool people into believing that it is authentic content.
3. Misleading Content- It is the misleading use of information to frame an issue.
4. Satire or Parody- This has no intention to cause harm but has the potential to fool.
5. False Connection- This happens when headlines, visuals, and captions do not support
the content.
6. False Context-When genuine content is shared with false context information, this
happens.
7. Manipulated Content- This is when genuine information or imagery is manipulated to
deceive.
