    RUBBER FLAP TYPE CHECK VALVE

    (Non-Slam Type) BS EN 12334 PN16

    • LYE Ductile Iron Rubber Flap Type Check Valve (Non-Slam Type) is designed and manufactured conforming
    to BS EN 12334.
    • The valve is of streamline design with only one moving part, the flexible disc, and body seat at a 45
    degree angle to minimize disc travel.
    • The disc is of one-piece construction, precision molded with an integral o-ring type sealing surface, and
    contain alloy steel and nylon reinforcement in the flexible hinge area. The flex portion of the disc shall be
    warranted for 25 years against tear-off.
    • Non-Slam closing characteristics is provided through a short 35 degree disc stroke.
    • Full size top access port with domed shape cover, allowing for removal of disc without removing the valve
    from the line.
    • A threaded port with plug is provided on the bottom of the valve to allow for field installation of
    backflow actuator without removing the valve from the line.
    • Fusion Bonded Epoxy coating is standard.
