Why do branches of the governments practice separation of powers?

The three branches of the government practice separation of power in order for each branch to perform a
specific and definite task. Each branch exercises its power with balance. Also, this separation of power allows
every branch to be more careful, efficient, and bound to produce effective results.

What do you think will happen to a government without check and balance?
A government without the so called “Check and Balance” will more likely to have an inefficient and ineffective
government. The main purpose of this Check and Balance is to monitor and assess whether each branch of the
government perform its role and function as stipulated in the constitution.
