Hon’ble Principal ma’am,

Respected judges, esteemed teachers

And all my dear friends,
Good afternoon to all of you.
I am Ankesh kr. Yadav of standard “IX A”.
Well I’m going to deliver speech on the topic-
“The Seeds of the Achievement lies in the Human
Mind”.

As we all know that in order to get a sweet fruit of

happiness and joy from a plant, we have to sow the seeds
first in the soil, then to give water and also add manures,
fertilizers etc.
Similarly, a seed of success, courage, hope and
determination should be sown in human mind. If we water
it every day i.e think more over it, then it will develop an
idea towards its achievement. Addition of manures and
fertilizers is that we council us and correct us on our
planning. All that required is the careful nurturing and
husbandry of this seed by doing not only hard but smart
labour. One more thing that is essential for this is a lot of
patience and determination.
And after full dedication and hard work, this grows into a
plant which bears the best and the sweetest fruit in the
world i.e. victory and success. So, it precisely come to “as
you sow, so you reap”.

As we can see into the great American

author “Hellen Keller”. She was the first deaf-blind person
to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree. Despite of her
disabilities, she was an American author, political activist
and lecturer. From the very beginning, since her very early
childhood, she was quite determined to achieve something
in her life despite of being physically challenged. I would
like to call another name i:e Sudha Chandran. She is a
famous Indian dancer and TV star, who lost her leg in an
accident. She did not allow her disability to deter her from
achieving success. Also, all great achievers of mankind
such as Newton, Leonardo Da Vinci, Lincoln, Einstein,
Addison, Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Kalam, etc. worked very
patiently and perseveringly in their chosen fields and
achieved success in their life.
Do you think all the above mentioned
personages could have enjoyed the whopping success
without nurturing the seed of achievement in their own
minds ? No. Not at all. They nurtured that seed into fully
grown tree.
At last , I want to say that Whatever you do today is
directly proportional to what will happen to you tomorrow.
So sow what you reap. So, a person must have positive
attitude towards every phase of life. He must know how to
cope up with different situations in life. Also, he must
remember that little deeds are like little seeds, they grow to
either flower or weed which is dependent on you. Only
then, he would achieve the highest aim of his life.
Moreover, the first principle of success is desire-knowing
what you want. And desire is the planting of that seed. So,
sow the seeds of hard-work, determination and endurance
and reap the rewards of achievements, success and self-
fulfilment.
That’s all from my side!
Thank you and have a marvellous day!
