Laboratory Exercise No.2 - Bayaoa, Darian Jay A.
Laboratory Exercise No.2 - Bayaoa, Darian Jay A.
Introduction
In performing this exercise which entitled “Universal Joint” we were tasked to draw some
parts for the assembly using “SolidWorks”. Solidworks is a solid modeling computer-aided
design and computer-aided engineering program, is one of the most popular software
options for mechatronics engineers. The software is then used for design and building of
mechanical, electrical, and software elements.

Conclusions
In conclusion, the parts and measurements were given and we were tasked to create and
assemble all the parts. Assembly is then conducted after making the parts, it is very accurate
when it comes to drawing in an application rather than manual drawing because it will take u
some time to draw manually. Solidworks is very efficient when it comes to designing
especially in the field of engineering.
