What unwritten rules would you love for your home country to adopt

from the country you're currently living in, or vice versa?

It’s sort of written, but it’s in the vague category of unspoken, so I

choose this.

Add the FUCKING SALES TAX ONTO THE PRICE TAG. FOR FUCKS SAKE.

I SWEAR TO GOD.

How fucking annoying is it when you walk up to the register, for an item
say, costing $6.99 USA.. And then you forgot about the sales tax.

Since you expected the price to be 7$ that’s all you brought to the store.

But now with the 7% average sales tax, you’re looking at an extra what?
50, 60 cents?

Well, now you can’t buy what you wanted unless you have a credit card.

I know Mexico does this, I realized this about a week ago.

I said “If only they put the sales tax on the price tag”.

And a young Hispanic woman says to me “We do that down in mexico”.

That’s one thing we should put over here, maybe not the welfare state
system or other stuff, but something small like that would be so easy to
implement and almost everyone would want it as they actually see
what they’re spending the cash register.

That’s the problem with change, if 51% of people want something, and
the other 49% don’t it will be unpopular and it won’t transition well.

But something like this? 90%+ approval, this is what I would do.
