Basketball Coach (Volunteer) January – April 2020
Special Olympics British Columbia, Coquitlam, BC
Organized weekly practices for athletes with intellectual disabilities, adapted and modified
drills as needed in a busy and dynamic environment, provided appropriate progressions and
regressions for different skill levels, worked with athletes one-on-one and in large groups of 20-
30, strived to provide athletes with a safe and supportive environment to participate in sport.
Physiotherapist’s Assistant (Volunteer) September – December 2019
Vital Life Physiotherapy Clinic, Port Coquitlam, BC
Supervised patients completing exercises prescribed by a physiotherapist, administered
treatments such as shockwave therapy with the supervision of a physiotherapist, worked with
patients with a variety of health issues (including but not limited to peripheral neuropathy,
carpal tunnel syndrome, low back pain, and plantar fasciitis), provided health education to
patients regarding the use of shockwave therapy.
