Registered vehicles in Iloilo

The number of motor vehicles registered in the province of Iloilo increased by
30.12 percent.
The Land Transportation Office (LTO-6) recorded a total of 90,080 motor vehicle
registrations in the second quarter of the year.

The figure, comprised of both old and brand new vehicles, was higher compared
to 69,226 in the same period a year ago.

Majority of the registered vehicles this year were privately owned.

In the whole Western Visayas, Iloilo province had the highest number of
registered vehicles.

It was followed by Iloilo City with 24, 256; Capiz, 10, 118; Aklan, 8,931;
Antique, 5,557; and Guimaras, 1,689.

All in all, 116, 375 motor vehicles were registered in the region in the April-June
period. It went up by 24.62 percent from 93, 384 in the same period last
