PFPE GREASE
Description: DEACON PFPE GREASE is a PTFE thickened
perfluorinated polyether fluid providing optimum
oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 500°F.
This combination of materials has the additional
benefit of being essentially inert to all but a couple of
fluorinated, higher molecular weight solvents. The
base fluid carries exceptionally high extreme pressure
properties with a 4-Ball Weld Point of 800- 1000
kilograms of force. It must be cautioned, however,
that base oil viscosity is the critical parameter in
long-term bearing protection and performance.

Due to its extreme resistance, DEACON PFPE GREASE

can be utilized in such services as oxygen, chlorine
where other lubricants would spontaneously combust.
It can also be utilized around gasoline, benzene,
xylene, etc. that easily wash away other lubricants.

Unmatched chemical & solvent resistance

• Excellent electrical & radiation resistance
• Compatible with nearly all elastomers & plastics
• Inert to liquid & gaseous oxygen
• Capable of NSF/USDA food contact registration
• Nonflammable
• Extremely wide operating temperature range
• Nontoxicine

Cross-reference to DuPont part numbers:

• Valves-GPL 206
• Bearings-GPL 226
