Workshop topic: How to become a trusted brand!


Workshop objective: Enhance practical approach of students to understanding the concept of branding

Preparation for the workshop:

 This will be an individual presentation


 They will do the preparation with a PowerPoint Presentation which should include following:
o You may take an example of a successful (in your point of view) brand to start with, but
that’s optional.
o Understanding target customers and their motivation behind buying your product (product
performance and feelings).
 How a brand can establish this via product delivery.
o Developing credibility in your market is essential for creating strong positioning; how
exactly do big brands do that.
 The role of visual identity and communication in this.
o Staying relevant might require repositioning; good brands always keep sight of this so that
they are always on the top of their customers’ minds.

Further insight for students:

 You will have to make yourself understand all the above aspects before you come to the workshop
and present. For that,
o Getting all kinds of information from textbooks, teachers’ slides, internet et al is all
welcome.
o There won’t be any judgments on plagiarism. You can go all out on that as you will be
presenting this in the class with logics and you should be able to answer counter questions.
