● Below is a list of the color codes and quantities of beads used in this
pattern, with the code that represents this color on the word chart starting
on page 4 of this PDF and the bead chart starting on page 8.
● For those of you who are doing this for the first time a word chart is a list of all the beads laid
out in a format that is easy to read and understand. Below is an example of one row
● Each row in the pattern has a number going from 1 to 190 in this pattern so you can keep track
of which row you are on. Each row also has a letter either R or L which tells you the direction
that you should be beading in the example above it is L so you should be beading to the left.
The beads are shown as follows in the brackets () is the number of beads and the number after is
the code for the color of bead. You must always read the word chart left to right even if you are
beading right to left, sounds simple but you don't want to have to re-bead half a project
because of a simple mistake. One thing to remember is that the first two rows are all beaded in
the same direction unlike all of the other rows, which will switch back and forth between left and
right.
