Circular: VPS launches new version of SampLogic

Within Veritas Petroleum Services (VPS) we recognise our customers are moving rapidly towards a more digital world.
We have therefore spent the last couple months redesigning our SampLogic solution in order to support our customers
in this digital journey. SampLogic is our system to schedule collection and tracking of your samples to our labs.

With the new VPS SampLogic system, the following items have been greatly improved and therefore the system is much
more user-friendly and intuitive to use:

• SampLogic is now connected to all the couriers we use globally, including FedEx, DHL and our local couriers
• It works in all countries across the world for all the products we test (Bunker Fuel, Lubricating Oil, Transformer
oils)
• The number of fields required is significantly reduced which makes it much faster to complete (less than 1
minute)
• It utilizes the browser memory function for even faster data entry for subsequent pickups (use Google Chrome
for the best results)
• The system is now fully working on mobile devices

As before, the system will continue to do what it was designed to do:

• Guide your sample to the closest and best suited laboratory to deliver the results as fast as possible
• The solution works 24/7 from anywhere in the world as long as you have an internet connection
• All required documents will be sent digitally by email
• Should there be any unforeseen supply chain disruption (e.g. a hurricane), we can instantly reroute any samples
to any of our other labs without any disruption
• Track and trace is available to check your sample status at any time

We strongly encourage our customers to use this improved SampLogic system as it guarantees the fastest delivery to
our labs. As before, the solution is free of charge for customers that have freight included in the sample price.

Please note that the old ‘offline’ Excel based forms that were sent by email will no longer work. Should you still be using
this solution, please give the new system a try and see for your self how easy and quick it is to create a pickup.
