Research Intern Spring 2020
Collected data from IL KIDS observations and NWEA Spring test scores for
kindergarten students. Data was analyzed to identify correlations between the two sets
of data. Intervention for a small group of kindergarten students was created.
Intervention focused on developmentally appropriate practices in readiness skills and
early literacy skills. Assessments were going to be given again to determine if the
intervention had an effect on academic grow​th.
