The exploration of the arctic for petroleum is considered to be extremely challenging because of the
extreme climate and unpredictable weather. Because of this reason, most of the oil companies left
their interest in exploration. Due to the recent hike in oil price and increasing demand of oil and oil
products the companies are now trying to drill out the untouched crude.

So in order to overcome challenges during exploration of oil resources, laser drills can be introduced
instead of mechanical drills.Laser can penetrate through hard rock and give a precise result this also
save time and money. By introducing CO2 sequestration in oil reservoirs can increase the productivity
of crude oil and also it reduces the black carbon emission.
