COURSE DESCRIPTION

Organizational Behaviour examines how differences in individuals and group behaviour affect
organizations and their effectiveness. Broad topics include individual behaviour, group behaviour
and organizational behaviour. You will get practical hands-on exercises and assignments which

facilitate decision making, problem solving and analytical thinking.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES/OUTCOMES
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
• Understand fundamentals of individual behaviour, such as attitude, personality,
motivation, and perception
• Understand group dynamics and group behaviour
• Understand how individual and group difference impact organization performance
• Be able to analyse organizational problems involving leadership, motivation, job design,
structure, culture and ethics and apply relevant theories to create meaning
recommendations
• Learn what it takes to be a High Performance Organization
• Understand issues in global management
• Learn communication theory and how it applies to management and leadership
• Understand the various sources of power and how and when to use them effectively

cases and other exercises. Students are also encouraged to contribute to the learning process

0%. If you miss an exam or project, you are required to contact me in advance and provide a
