General requiriments

Enrolment in an MSc Programme at Wageningen University requires:

1. A BSc degree (or equivalent) in a field of science relevant to your selected


programme
2. A Grade Point Average (GPA) for this BSc of at least 70% of the maximum grade
3. Fluency in English, both written and spoken
1- Bachelors degree
2- A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Dutch or English (or a certified English
translation).
3- Students in the final year of their bachelor's programme may also apply for
admission prior to graduation. The Academic Committee on Admissions can
tentatively admit students based on a transcript of their academic records.

An official transcript of records of your bachelor in Dutch or English with your name,
logo and official stamp of your university. Please upload an official transcript of
records with your marks obtained so far if you have not graduated yet.

3-English language proficiency

4- The medium of instruction in all our Master programmes is English. All applicants are
asked to provide a valid English language proficiency test with a sufficient score to
prove that they meet the English language requirement or, in some cases, can be
exempted from providing such a test.

6- And if not: check B on what uploads we can accept as a sufficient proof of English.
7- We would like to stress that it is vital to arrange any tests you might need to take to
provide this proof (should you not be exempted) as we do not accept any results
after certain deadlines have passed. Please check our website for all deadlines.

10-Be aware that there are two different levels. Please check which level is applicable
for the programme(s) you apply for.

4- Statement of porpuse
Explaining why you wish to enrol in the chosen programme(s) and, if applicable, an
indication of the programme’s practical value to your profession (one page maximum
and in English).

6- Other documents
It is optional to upload any document in English or Dutch that may enable the
Academic Committee to better judge your application. For example: Summary of
your Bachelor Thesis report (two pages maximum) or an official letter of
recommendation from your professor or employee. The documents should include
contact details of your academic supervisor.

How to apply

To apply for admission to the MSc Programme you have to submit several documents. This

for Dutch students, EU students and non-EU/EFTA students.
