OBSERVATIONS, EXPERIENCES AND CONCERNS ON THE

CLASS OPENING SY 2020-2021

Instructions: Please provide your honest answers to the following questions.

1. What were the preparations of the SDOs for the opening of classes SY 2020-2021?

Bislig City Division is addressing challenges in the delivery of Basic Education through
the LCP-Learning Continuity Plan that the Schools made and effected for the SY 2020-2021.
Our LCP is our major response and our commitment in ensuring the health, safety and well
-being of our learners, teachers and personnel in the time of Covid 19 pandemic.
The most common modality is modular printed wherein Bislig City Division asked the
schools to reproduce/print modules for our learners. Webinars and teleconferences conducted to
give Technical Assistance to both the School Heads and Teachers for us to be ready for the
opening of classes.

2. What were the facilitating factors leading to the successful opening of classes?

The facilitating factors that lead to the successful opening of classes are the commitment
and dedication of the Teachers as well as the School Heads who always put the learner’s welfare
first. We do the over time of reproducing/printing of modules just to cope up with the needed
number of modules for our learners. Of course the support of our stakeholders.

3. What were the areas needing improvement?

The process of reproducing the modules, wherein other districts will reproduce the
modules for us. Perhaps in our opinion, better if we did it in our district for our own consumption
so we that we are aware what is lacking and our own teachers will really make it fast because
they will be the one to use the modules the reproduce and sort.
4. What concerns, Issues, gaps and problems (CIGPs) that you would want to raise up to
the Regional Level for action and intervention.
None so far. But for the BCD we have. Our enrollment increased from 161 to 173. Our kinder
class exceeds to the maximum number of pupils. In this connection, we will humbly request for
additional 1 teacher if possible.

5. What recommendation/s can you offer to better improve the Oplan Balik Eskwela
(OBE)
Perhaps allocation of OBE funds for the school to sustain our school needs if possible.
