Today, With the advent of technology the world has become so compact
that one can go across the world in a couple of days and with complete
comforts. Now everybody wants to go abroad for various reasons like
for**higher education, better jobs opportunities, business purposes and
for sightseeing also. In Astrology, for foreign travel and foreign
settlement, some specific combinations are there in the horoscope which
gives clear indication about the possibility and timing of foreign
journeys.**
7th, 9th, 8th and 12th houses in the horoscope indicate foreign travel
and residence. Aries, Cancer, Libra & Capricorn are movable signs
indicates travelling/* *journey to foreign/distant lands. Cancer is a
powerful sign in this regard as it is both a moveable sign and a watery
sign. Sun, Moon, Saturn and Rahu are the significators for foreign

When these planets occupy the 8th, the 9th or the 12^th houses or aspect
them, foreign travel is possible. The ascendant and 9th house connection
indicates foreign travel. Ascendant lord in 9^th or 9^th lord in
ascendant indicate foreign travel. The Moon in Cancer denotes foreign
travel as the Moon is a swift moving planet and Cancer is a movable
sign. The Moon, Rahu & Saturn are able to give foreign travel. If these
planets are in the Ascendant, the 9th or 10th houses or aspect these
houses or their lords, then there is a chance for foreign travel. The
lord of the 10th house connected with the 12th house also indicates

*For Higher Education:**When 4^th 9^th 12^th houses lords are connected
one will go abroad for higher education. 4^th house is for basic
education, 9^th house for higher education and 12^th house for foreign
travel/change of environment. If 4^th house is afflicted by malefics or
more malefic influence is there on 4^th house, native look for permanent
settlement in abroad.***The ascendant lord in the 12th or with 12th lord
or 12th lord in ascendant is a strong factor showing permanent

In Kp system for foreign travel we see the sub lord of 12^th cusp.**If
the sub lord of the 12th cusp is the significator of the 3rd, 9th, or
12th, and/ /especially of the 9th, then foreign travel will be promised
during the joint period of the significators of the 3rd, 9th, and 12th.
*Directions associated with the journey*

As direction of the journey is mostly linked with rashi’s direction.
Rasi which represent the western side are Gemini, libra and aquarius.
When the concerned lords and moon are placed in respective houses like
9th, 12th or 4th in these rashi then chances are more bright that one
will go to US or Canada.
Direction of the journey can also be checked with the planets involve in
the foreign travel yogas. Saturn indicates a trip towards western
direction from birth place. Sun indicates long distance travel towards
eastern direction. Moon indicates journeys towards north-west direction.
Mars indicates journeys towards south direction. Mercury indicates a
trip towards northern direction.

A total solar eclipse ( /Khagras Surya Grahan/) will occur on November
3, 2013 Ashwin Krishna Amavasya, Sunday and in Libra sign, affecting

On October 18-19 2013 a Penumbral Eclipse of the Moon will take place in
Aries sign, Ashwin Shukla Purnima on Friday. LunarEclipse occurs when
the Sun, Earth and Moon are perfectly aligned. The Earth is sitting in
the middle, when the Moon is on the far side of the Earth from the Sun
and there is a Full Moon. A full moon occurs when the transit Sun and
Moon are exactly opposing one another in the zodiac. A penumbral lunar
eclipse occurs when the Earth moves between the Sun and Moon but the
three celestial bodies do not form a perfectly straight line. The Moon
then travels through the outer part of the Earth's shadow (/penumbra/).
This means that all of the Moon's visible surface still receives some
direct sunlight - but the Earth obscures parts of the Sun, as seen from
the Moon.The Eclipse will start at 3:18, peak at 5:20 and end at
7:21.The duration of this lunar eclipse will be 3 hours, 59
minutes.Eastern Canada will experience the entire event while the rest
of Canada and the USA will see moonrise with the eclipse already in
progress. This eclipse will have an impact on Europe and Africa. Itwill
not be visible in India but impact of Eclipse affects the entire Earth.

optimism. A lunar eclipse is like a full moon.If this Eclipse is going
to be occurred in your Moonsign or on your Ascandent you will find a
little anxious before and after 48 hrs of lunar eclipse. Eclipses
