Title of the story: Daedalus and Icarus

The plot of the story:

Daedalus was a genius inventor who built the labyrinth in Crete that
hosted the Minotaur. When King Minos learned that Theseus had escaped alive
from the maze, he knew Daedalus had something to do with it. So, in the hopes
of not fleeing, he threw both Daedalus and Icarus into the maze. Yet Daedalus
was brilliant enough to dream about fleeing through the clouds and that was the
only thing that King Minos had no influence over. He cautioned his son Icarus not
to get close to the sea for it will make the feathers wet and difficult to fly in them,
and not too close to the sun for it will melt the feathers were holding together. So
build 2 pairs of wings kept together by wax, he warned his son Icarus not to get
close to the sea for it will make the feathers wet and difficult to fly in them, and
not too close to the sun for it will melt. Icarus forgot his father's advice during
their long journey and he stepped too close to the sun. The wax melted, binding
the feathers together, and he sunk back to the water. Daedalus was so sad that
he founded Apollo's temple, putting his wings as an offering. Yet King Minos is
not yet out. He looked high and wide for some of Daedalus' sights. He
encountered King Cocalus with chance, who kept Daedalus at the Court at the
time. King Minos was waiting for Daedalus to be turned over to him, but King
Cocalus had King Minos stay over for a banquet. That night, as King Minos was
asleep, the daughter of King Cocalus murdered him because they were very
impressed by the presents that Daedalus gave them.
