Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the Cultural Show of this year’s
Family Day Celebration. To give the Opening Remarks, let us all welcome our
beloved school directress, Sister Vicenta Anuran, OSB.

Opening Remarks

Thank you, Sister Vicenta for that inspiring message. Family Day is a school
activity that both students and parents look forward to each year. The PTA
Board makes sure that there are plenty of fun-filled activities in store for all to
participate in. Aside from the field demonstration, parlor games and ball
games, the Family Day Cultural Show is the most awaited event. This activity
gives the chance to show off their talents. Let us now welcome our panel of
judges in this year’s competition.

Our first judge is Dorothy Londres

Our second judge is an AB Mass Communication graduate from the University

of St. La Salle – Bacolod. She is a NOPRISAA (now called NOPSSCEA) vocal
singing champion. She played the coveted role of TUPTIM in Peque Gallaga’s
restaging of the braodway musical “The King and I.” She performed with
Bacolod’s premier jazz band, The Earplay Band at the Hyatt Regency in Seoul,
Korea. She is the Head Copywriter for City 2 Television, Broadcat City, and is
currently the Music Ministry Head of the Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen
and Professionals, North Chapter. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Mrs.
Marilou Salazar-Aragon.
