Question: What is called a judicial organ of a state?

Answer : The judiciary is the system of courts that interprets and applies the laws in
the name of the state. The organ which administers impartial judgment according to
the law of the state is called the judicial organ of the state. The chief of this institution
is called the chief justice. The president appoints the chief justice. The judicial organ
is the organ of the government which applies the law made by the legislature and
enforced by the executive. Similarly, it interprets the law whenever necessary, so the
judicial organ of a state may truly be said to have neither force nor will, but merely
judgment. Moreover it safeguards the fundamental rights as provided by the
constitution, our judicial organ of the state is a key aspect of our democratic way of
our democratic way of life. It upholds peace, order and good governance. That is
because the courts of this system apply the law, and settle disputes and punish
lawbreakers according to the law.
