ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES

Good morning everyone.

Both living beings as well as their surroundings constitute our climate. For a long period
of time, a healthy environment is one that is sustainable. It is, for everyone, the source
of life. It directs everyone's life and determines the growth and development that is
appropriate.

Our quality of life depends on the quality of our natural environment, whether it is good
or bad. The environment around us relies on our need for food, water, shelter, and other
things. A balanced natural cycle between the environment and the lives of human
beings, plants, and animals needs to exist.

In degenerating the natural world, which badly affects life on this planet, human culture
plays a vital role. In this modern world, all human activities directly affect our
environment. Many of our actions have brought about major changes on this planet,
leading to many environmental problems. Another important factor is an increasing
demand for technologies and industries.

The adverse effects on the environment of human activities are numerous. Pollution,
over-population, waste disposal, climate change, global warming, and the greenhouse
effect are some of these, etc. The toxic gases in the air are the main explanation for
posing a significant threat to our health.

The unregulated use of cars has intensified their impacts, releasing dangerous gases
such as carbon monoxide in turn. Electronic devices such as air conditioners and
coolers often contaminate air by the discharge of hazardous substances. Air pollution as
well as global warming are caused by the different effects of these gases.

Another big reason is deforestation. The human population is growing at a rapid pace
and we need to cut forests and trees to meet their daily consumption. It may be for
home or for fuel, but we are causing great loss to the environment.

The loss of natural resources like water, power, and food are other factors. On the other
hand, human overconsumption of resources and unsafe disposal of waste have resulted
in a large amount of solid and harmful waste. These wastes face other environmental
risks.
Our world has reached unsustainable levels due to these human activities. It is,
therefore, our obligation and responsibility to reduce losses. In this solution, every
individual can play a substantial role.

We should take a pledge, for example, to say 'No' to plastics. Instead, we can use
environmentally friendly alternatives, such as bags of paper and cloth.

Strict laws for industries must be enforced by the government of every country. In order
to enable people to use public transit and awareness campaigns should be coordinated.
Also, planting trees has to be done by everybody. The fewer private cars are used, the
less toxic gas emissions will be reduced and fuel resources will be saved.

In our society and daily routine lives, we need to spread environmental awareness.
Saving and maintaining our environment is necessary. It is everyone's duty to do our bit
for the environment. Therefore, let us work towards a greener and more sustainable
future together.

THANK YOU!
