Soil field testing equipment is used to determine grain size, moisture content, and strengths at varying

moisture contents. Other tests are run to measure the permeability of water or fluids in soils or to
provide controls for compaction of engineered fills.

Sieve analysis equipment is used to characterize and classify sand, aggregate, soils, coal, grains,
and many types of fine powders.

The Universal testing machine (UTM) is used to test the mechanical properties (tension, compression
etc.) of a given test specimen by exerting tensile, compressive or transverse stresses. The machine
has been named so because of the wide range of tests it can perform over different kind of materials.
Different tests like peel test, flexural test, tension test, bend test, friction test, spring test etc. can be
performed with the help of UTM.
Pressure gauge, instrument for measuring the condition of a fluid (liquid or gas) that is specified by
the force that the fluid would exert, when at rest, on a unit area, such as pounds per square inch or
newtons per square centimetre.

A concrete vibrator is a construction tool typically used on concrete pouring sites. These machines
and an assortment of attachments are designed for multiple applications built by a variety of
manufacturers. The vibrators are used to ensure that the pour is free of air bubbles and are even.

A hydraulic jack is a device that is used to lift heavy loads by applying a force via a hydraulic
cylinder. Hydraulic jacks lift loads using the force created by the pressure in the cylinder chamber.
