Background of the Problem

Introduction

The Sale’s Transaction system in Pedro’s was the checking and listing the orders . They have
concern that it will have human error while using manual method. Other problem that the
company encounters are the following base on the problem, the proponents recommend a system
that will make the company Sale's Transaction records accurate and up-to-date.
We have to undergo an interview for where we want to conduct the Sale’s solution for the Sale’s
Transaction system of a certain facility. We have to choose the Pedro’s lechon manok. We had
interview one owner of Mrs. Wenni D. Nirie. They want to change their inventory system for the
fast processing information.

In matter of Pedro's Lechon Manok Particularly the Sale’s Transaction they are presently using
the Manual record system where in performing for these are done manually. suppliers and buyers
would encounter lack of purchasing products.

The manual operated system is not resolved, manual system put pressure on the owner to be sure
that the Sale’s Transaction counts was correct. This will cause loss of profit in the future and loss
of stock. It will cause a hindrance where she will maintain and achieve a big profit. Without
automated system inventory she will risk a litany of mistakes, out of overstocks, miss place and
so on. This also means that the data isn’t updated in real time and inventory are needed updating
periodically.
And it also failed to sort and label record in a systematic manner. This can result in misplaced,
unused, and the inventory are time consuming, in business must keep track of inventory sales
daily while updating the system manually at the end of the day. Sale's Transaction requires
employee to write down each time an item is removed from the inventory. One of the difficulties
of running a manual record is that physical sale’s counts must be performed frequently to control
the items.
This is time consuming and can cost the business money if employee must come in to help out
outside the business hours.
Project Context

As the researchers went through the investigation to substantiate the problems that were faced of
the business which are mentioned above, we came up with creating the Ang Pedro’s Lechon
Manok Sale’s Transaction System, which is intended to help (the Manager, Teller & Cashier) in
monitoring the Sale’s of the Business transaction , checking and listing of the sales of the
Business. The system can minimize human errors in editing and be easily access anytime by the
company. Sales Transaction system makes the company more effective, more productive and is
convenient for the business and its customers. The system is making to help the establishment
show more relevant items to the customers.
The study tackled the business process of the Sale’s Transaction System, its techniques and
analysis of the Sale’s Transaction system. It also involves testing the efficiency of the Sale’s
Transaction System.
The Sale’s Transaction System is the application used for the business during checking
and listing their Sale’s transactions. This study aims to help the staff/employees of Pedro’s
Lechon Manok make their work faster by using the system where they can checking the records
where they can see in the database. The system will provide a good service to the company like
better transaction process that brings bigger profit.

To the proponents, the proposed Capstone Thesis project encountered some challenges
such as team development, understanding the problems both team and organization. For the
proponents, the proposed project serves as the basis of the study that can gain experiences and
adopt more skills in programming activities.

Purpose and description

In creating research, it is very important that the researchers should know the importance
of the research, the possible benefits and who would be able to benefit it. The core of this study
is to monitor the Sale’s Transaction .The system envisions to have a great impact specifically the
Pedro’s lechon manok. The following groups are seen to greatly benefit from the result of the
study.

This study is beneficial and helpful for the following:

Customer. They will be given more quality service which will be more convenient for them. The
new system will lessen the time spent by customers in the buying and paying process.

Manager. If the manager wants to check the status of their sale, he just needs to login into the
system than to check it manually.

Owner. The owner will also benefit from the system because he or she can manage the system
which provides everything for the user, he can also benefit from the accurate records the system
could produce.

Staff. The staff will have an easy way of recording the orders. They will not have problems in
product orders since it’s now computerized. They will not be having a hard time searching and
updating the stocks.

Casher

To the future researcher, as their guide in conducting research about the Sale’s Transaction
System of an business, and how to develop software.

OBJECTIVES

As the available existing system provides limited functions to the user, thus this

project will contain enhanced and more flexible functions to the store. The objectives

include:

 To automatically generate report on sales activities

 To generate receipt with proper format for customer references
 To provide point of sales for each day
 To reduce time and cost to control and manage sales

