REFLECTION

Environmental pollution is one of the key problems faced in our modern world.
Though there has been massive technological advancement in these recent
days, it has also invited negative effects to the environment. By doing a
simple thing like planting a tree, we shall be making the world a better place
and for sure we shall always live to be proud of our achievement. Saving the
environment is not just an issue anymore. It is a survival truth. Individuals,
organizations and governments need to come together and join hands to
protect what is left of our planet so that the future is not wiped out before it’s
time for a curtain call.

The next thing we need to do is to promote afforestation to save the

environment. Protecting and growing more trees will definitely preserve our
environment. In this evolving modern era, the paramount issue is to stop
exploiting the environment and save it before it’s too late. We need to focus
on making our planet clean and green and this is only possible with the
combined efforts of the citizen of the society and the government. Mankind
has done a lot of destruction to the environment and the result is pollution,
global warming, ozone depletion and much more. So, we need to realize how
our planet is on the verge of destruction and we need to take steps to save it
and make it a healthy and safe place for our future generations. And this is
what we do in Purok Bai Saraping Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat in November
12, 2020 along with the approval of the local government of Purok Bai
Saraping and also with the help of Armed Forces of the Philippines, We
Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) cadets planted 1000 Falcata tree to
help return into previous form the forest in Purok Bai Saraping and it took us a
few hours to plant the 1000 falcata tree as the land is not plain and there
some areas that is dangerous.

In conclusion, Environment is a precious gift on this planet. Our Environment

is facing a big danger. Saving Environment is the need of the hour. Probably,
it is the biggest concern of Humanity right now. Any delay in this regard could
be disastrous and might affect the next generation so right now not only the
government but all of us as human must protect and conserve the beauty of
the nature and environment. Many people believe that now it’s too late to save
the environment that’s why they don’t care what happen in their surroundings,
however, it’s not true. We still have time to protect our environment and save
our upcoming generations. It is possible to heal the environment as we just
need to initiate and take action in the right direction.
