ENVIRONMENT
OUTLINE
Environment protection is a practice of protecting the environment on
individual or organization controlled on governmental levels, for the
benefit of both the environment and humans. Due to overconsumption ,
growing population and efficient use of technology, the biophysical
environment  is getting degraded day-by-day. This has been occurring on
large scale and has been recognized governments and by people. They
have begun placing restrictions on activities that cause environment
degradation. Since many years ago only , activity of environment
movements was started and now it has created awareness of the
various environmental problems to get rid off. There is no such
estimation till which extent the environmental degradation can give the
impact on human activity and even it not only will disturb the life of
human beings but also the wildlife, it will lead to the great disturbance
to the food chain and the eco cycle. So the protective measures are to
be taken for the survival.
WHY TO CONSERVE ENVIRONMENT?
 Natural resources are limited. If the natural resources such
as oil, coal, etc. are used, one day the world will fall a
shortage of these resources.
 High-level of environmental pollution is hazardous for
human and animal health.
 Forests are fast depleting. It may cause soil erosion, drought
situation and land degradation.
 Excessive use of pesticides and chemical compounds has
lead to contamination of soil and negative output of
agriculture.
 Global warming is a serious environmental issue which is
only being caused due to bad environment conditions.
WAYS TO SAVE ENVIRONMENT
 SAVE WATER:  We should save drinking water. Water is a precious
component of our environment.
 BAN DEFORESTATION: There should be a policy towards reckless
cutting of forest. Each one of us should contribute by planting just one
tree.
 RECYCLE: The waste products should be recycled to make new items like
plastic , papers etc.
 ECO-FRIENDLY FUEL VEHICLES: Safer environmental friendly car and
vehicles should be used. People should be encouraged to use bicycle in
place of motor based vehicles or may go for carpooling.
 SAVE ENERGY: A lot of environmental problems would disappear if we
stop using petroleum, coal and natural gas. The use of renewable sources of
energy would help saving the environment like using solar energy and by
saving energy , to switch off lights when not in use and try to spend time in
sunlight during day.
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Sustainable development  is an  economic development that attempts to satisfy
the needs of humans but in a manner that it sustains natural resources and the
environment for today’s generation also and for future generations. It is a way
for people to use resources without the resources running out . When we look at
the natural environment, we see that it has an ability to regenerate itself and
sustain its viability. For example, when a tree falls, it decomposes, adding
nutrients to the soil. These nutrients help sustain suitable conditions so future
plants can grow.
When nature is left alone, it has a numerous ability to care for itself. However,
when man enters the nature and uses many of the natural resources provided
by the environment, things change. Human actions can deplete natural
resources, and without the application of environmental sustainability
methods, long-term availability can be compromised.
Environmental sustainability concerns the natural environment and it maintain
and remains diverse and productive and supports survival.
ENVIRONMENT ISSUE OF DELHI:
A THREAT TO THOUSANDS OF LIVES
FOGGY AND SMOG CONDITIONS PREVAILS OVER DELHI
 Environmental problems of Delhi are a big threat to the population of the city's and
area's flora and fauna. Delhi, is declared as the sixth-most populated metropolis in
the world. It is one of the most heavily polluted cities in India, having for instance one
of the country's highest volumes of pollution.
 In May 2014 the World Health Organization announced New Delhi as the most
polluted city in the world.
 Overpopulation and the overuse of resources such as water and other environmental
products put heavy load on the environment. The city suffers from air pollution
caused by road dust and industry, with comparatively contributions pollution from
unclean engines in transportation, especially diesel city buses and trucks
 Noise pollution comes mainly from motorcycle and automobile traffic. Water pollution
and a lack of waste treatment facilities have caused serious damage to the river on
banks of the Yamuna. Besides human and environmental damage, pollution has
caused economic damage as. It has only caused due to the people lack of attention
towards environment protection.

LOVE nature,
STAY CLOSE to nature,
it will NEVER FAIL you.
