QUESTION 1

A. Describe the relationship between entrepreneurship and creativity

Abstract

Creativity
Entrepreneurship

We're living in an era when the speed of innovations and inventions in the fields of science, culture,
technology and industrialization is more accelerated than any other time in the history of mankind.
Entrepreneurship has been identified as an engine of economic and social development in this period
that can lead to growth and development, increase productivity and create jobs. However, the concept of
entrepreneurship is merged largely with concepts such as creativity and innovation. So in this article it is
tried to see these key factors as development of communities together. In this paper, first the concept of
innovation was introduced, then the difference between creativity and innovation comes, at the end the
relationship between creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship is depicted.

Introduction

At present, the rapid changes are happening so fast that have prompted today's organizations to
ensure their survival by the launch of innovative products and services with advanced technology, and
this requires creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship.

The role of these three important factors can be summarized:

• Creativity is an individual ability that can lead to an intact invention or idea by the creative person.

• Entrepreneurship is an individual characteristic that leads the innovation process successfully in

bringing a product or offering a new service to market despite many obstacles because entrepreneurship
requires a special kind of creativity and entrepreneurship in the entire process, from initial idea
generation to finance sale, all require creativity. In this section, we describe the Creativity and then
entrepreneurship will be checked.
2. A review of the literature

2.1 Creativity concept

Many believe that creativity is an inherent and inherited characteristic that only some lucky people are
born with it. Today, it is proved that this ability is common among the human species and all at birth
have this talent in varying degrees. Creativity has been defined in different and numerous ways. But in all
of these definitions, two concepts of new and suitability are shared. Creativity takes place when the
person takes a new solution to a problem that is faced with. This definition contains two elements; first
one is the problem solution and second new and innovative solution to the problem solver for creative
thinking, the development of four categories of skills is essential:

1. Divergent thinking ability that creates very different solutions to a wide range of dimensions and
angles can be regarded as a problem.

2. Having a vast knowledge and useful experience in the field of creativity.

3. The ability to communicate with others in order to exchange experiences and information.

4. Person capacity for critical analysis, because a person reaches to different solutions during the
formation of creativity that is essential to choose the right solution and exclusion of other solutions and
to have an accurate judgment and criticism. In researches conducted on twins, identical and non-
identical, there was reported a very weak role of genetic factors on creativity. In most definitions of
creativity, the emphasis is on the weak role of genetic and innate creativity and the ability is noted that
can grow and be increased. Thus, creativity is generalizable to all individuals and all have some degree
of creativity. Today, there is no argument about whether creativity is innate or acquired, it tries to
determine creativity and all related to the field of Psychology and business management correctly and
develop its different aspects. Creativity needs several individual and interpersonal factors. Suitable
environment, informed parents, competent coaches, training programs, individual differences and hard
work are the accessories of creativity.

3. Describing the factors

3.1 Elements of Creativity

Creativity is composed of several elements. Amably, Head of Research at Harvard Business School, knows
three elements of subject-related skills to subject and topic, creativity and motivation as the main
components. Skills relevant to the topic relevant skills include: knowledge and understanding about facts,
principles and theories of that matter that is obtained through talent, experience and training in the field.
There is clear that a man before becoming creative must have skills that most of us neglect it People who
are newly arrived in a matter and do not know its difficulty and complexity, can give an idea better than
informed people. Even some people believe that the greatest obstacle to creativity is our knowledge, not
from what we don’t know. So here comes a challenge that if skills related to the topic are increased, the
creativity will be decreased or increased? The greater our knowledge increases, ours constraint to the
subject and the fear to new situations will be more. To address these challenges, the skills that will help
your creativity and break mental shackle due to subject knowledge should accompany the topic skills.
This is in the shadow of this compound that there will be no fear by an increase in knowledge, because it
would enable a person with creativity skills to release from shackle and create new ideas. Skills related to
creativity if a person enjoys the highest level of topic skill, but lack creativity skills, never are able to do
creative work. His topic skills would be the biggest obstacle to creativity. But if you got the creativity
skills, you can use topic skills in a new way, or increase them and adopt better ways to use them.
Motivation one of the most important components of creativity is incentive that it would be interesting
and fun for everyone. Obviously, the ability to learn new subject in general depends on the mental state
of man, not a God-given talent, and the ability to learn reaches to peak when someone has full and
unconditional love like the child does when learning to walk, if we look carefully, we see that he takes all
his energy to walk. Only it is in the light of such interest that the necessary mental energy to understand
new and different issues arises. This motivation is very high in entrepreneurs because they desired their
business. However, Mably emphasizes in his comments on the intrinsic motivation, but in a
comprehensive study about creative entrepreneurs, he reached the conclusion that a special type of
external motivation can serve underside motivation to be that way any external factors that can foster a
sense of competence, without feeling drained his autonomy, will be added to intrinsic motivation. Also
rewards that increases person's competence or would able him to do amazing things, can be effective as
extrinsic motivations. Independence contributes to creativity in the process, because freedom in terms of
how to deal with the job, increases the inner motivation of employees and their sense of ownership.
Creative people spend much of their time and energy to pay careful attention to their surroundings. When
a team is comprised of individuals with diverse backgrounds and approaches, their thinking will be
stimulated and compounded in a beneficial manner. The teams must have three characteristics in addition
to diversification: Members of a team should create excitement and increase motivation to participate in
achieving the desired goal. People should help other members and tend to show a spirit of cooperation
among groups. Each member must recognize and commemorate others’ unique knowledge. These factors
not only increase internal motivation, but also add expertise and creative thinking skills.
3.2 The creativity process

Some believe that creativity is something accidentally that occurs because of a pleasant event and it
cannot be formed or create an idea in mind by different ways and organizational changes but the one
thing that will spark ideas or words in the mind. Creativity generally has five steps to this process:
Capturing information a creative person attracts the information and studies issues to explore and search
for various solutions. In this time the mind of a creative person starts to work using raw data
imperceptibly, and then parse, analyze and synthesize information to provide a solution to the problem.
Inspiration In the stage called inspiration; creative person feels he finds the executive solution. Test After
finding new solutions, creative person puts it to the test to observe success or failure. This step may also
improve the quality of solutions. So by flexible attitude and thinking, merits and shortcomings of the
solutions should be adopted. Refinement When the test was performed and confirmed the feasibility and
applicability of the plan, there may need to be refined, which means that the optimal solution will be
investigated. Supply the last stage is supplying creative thought, so that new ideas can be presented in
such a way that it can be presented simply and practically. When the creative process is successfully
done that the adoption of thinking is done.

3.3 Creative Techniques

Creativity techniques as a means to develop creativity and creative problem solving abilities help the
person ability in all phases of creativity and creative problem solving process. In other words, each of
these techniques, creativity boosts stage or stages of the creative process. These techniques are individual
and in group, individual techniques including creative illusion, Do it ... The group techniques including
brainstorming, six hats, Delphi, Synknyks and techniques that can be used both individually as well as
collectively including Samper, breaking assumptions, why and morphologically. The main focus of the
methods and techniques is breaking the mental templates using effective strategies as follows: Preventing
immediate judgment: is an essential skill in creativity, because the immediate judgment about a solution
eliminates innovative ideas. The primary sense: is centre of creation process, creative thinking that
analyses data for problem solving and releases major and non-major and non-useful items. This causes
people to not be affected by the ruling idea. Doubt: Creativity fulfilment requirement is that the people
are not captured by assumptions because the purpose is changing the model. Strong imagination: is one
of the determinants of creativity, the ability to visualize objects, concepts, and processes. How the image
is important. The images are bright, strong, lively and varied, enabling greater innovation and creativity.
Imagination: of many innovations and inventions are the results of imagination. Many fictions have
become reality today. One aspect of the method is that a person will replace him by an imaginary person
or thing. New approach: a different approach to the issues is an integral component of creativity.
Creative people discover new aspects of the phenomenon, such as a creative artist with a different view
of the issues that finds and draws in a painting. Akbar Fadaee *, Haitham Obaid Abd Alzahrh 2
International Journal of Economy, Management and Social Sciences Vol (3), No (12), December, 2014.

4. Innovation

In today's competitive world, innovation is critical to the survival and success of creative people and
innovative companies which are the source of innovation are a lifeline for companies such as if it is lost,
doomed to be deterioration and destruction because the speed of global economic growth, great demand
and limited supply will heat level of competition. Innovation is regarded key in the entrepreneurial
process. Innovation is a specific action of entrepreneurial, a means by which the entrepreneur creates
new CSP or increases a wealth of resources to enrich their potential for wealth creation. Innovation is a
process that entrepreneurs have the opportunity to make their ideas become marketable. This means that
they have to contribute to accelerating change. Entrepreneurs combine creative ideas with market
opportunities and actively pursuing an entrepreneurial opportunity to reality with the launch of the
business.

4.1 Innovation Process

Innovation process is more than a good idea. Source of ideas is important and creative thinking may play
a role in its development but the idea that comes from ideation is different from the idea resulting from
extended thought, research, and work experience. More importantly, future entrepreneurs spend a good
idea in various stages of development. Hence, innovation is combination of insights of a good idea and
assist in the implementation of the idea. Essentially the concept of innovation is from management
perspective, begins from thought and ends with the release of new product or service businesses. The
following diagram illustrates the various stages of the process: In this process, the person is authorized to
release and to imagine different ways to spin the idea and then it becomes a practical, useful and
appropriate concept (creativity), in following he converts applied ideas to goods, services …
(innovation) and at last by commercial distribution of goods and services produced, innovative process
ends. Usually innovation takes place in successive steps. The innovation process successfully
implemented, it would need to ensure that this process occurs in the organization process, respectively.
If one of these steps is not running, there will be fail.
5.Entrepreneurship

The term entrepreneurship for the first time was defined by Kantylyvn. Entrepreneurship was from the
beginning in all facets of human life and the basis of human development and progress and is a process
that occurs in many different environments and sets, and occurs in the economy through innovation and
people who react to economic opportunities and creates value for society and the individual. It is valuable
insight into the entrepreneurial creation of any process to achieve and pursue opportunities without regard
to the resources available. It is quality that enables people to begin a new activity or the ability to develop
and present innovative activities. Entrepreneurship is the process of creative destruction that is essential
to the sustainability of economic development.
6.Relationship between the creativity and entrepreneurship

Many organizations and companies have realized the importance of creativity and entrepreneurship. Role
of creativity is to the extent that in the West it is called "death or creativity." Accordingly, the following
pattern (J. He Kynb, 2005) is presented: In this model, the three factors of innovation, creativity and
entrepreneurship together to enhance the educational and career success. Thread entrepreneurship has
always been associated with innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship that is so necessary and
interdependent Drucker believes that entrepreneurship can say without creativity and innovation does not
bear any fruits. Results of some studies have pointed to the fact that entrepreneurs choose new businesses
or established companies and institutions, not only for economic reasons, but mostly because there are
jobs that innovation and creativity will follow. Shine also believes that the true entrepreneurs, the job is
likely due to innovation and creativity begins to economic incentives.

9. Conclusion

Our age is acceleration age, transformation and change. This wave of change affects all our lives by
planned or unplanned. Hence, a society is leading tin global competition that has skilled and creative
experts. Currently, one of the contributing factors to transform the face of economic, social and industrial
of a country is an entrepreneurial activity. Hence, in the new field, a society is leading in a competitive
community that its graduates should be able to collect the creativity and dynamism of resources and effort
to pay creative business and be entrepreneurs.

Chris Kirubi: 5 steps to success in business and career

1. Attitude is everything: Most often, Kirubi points out, attitude is the key to success. Kirubi writes that
he prefers attitude to skill in hiring an employee. “I have said it time and time again that I employ
mostly for attitude and train for skills. If you have a guy without the right attitude, their skills will not
help you because they are irrelevant to your business. Most times it’s not the person that is the most
qualified that gets the job, but the one who shows the most potential; the one who is trainable,” he says.

The billionaire explains that if your academic merit contradicts your attitude, you might achieve very
little for yourself, your employer and the community as a whole. The valuable question you need to
ask is, if you were stripped off the various certificates, degrees and accolades that you hold, what are
you worth?

2. Go the extra mile: In life, no one will teach you everything, even the teachers and lecturers you
pay for knowledge. You have to go the extra mile and learn a new skill by yourself, either by going to
a training institution, voluntary service or life experiences.

“As you study and acquire knowledge, remember to train yourself for the labour market. Acquire basic
or additional skills that will develop you. Don’t wait to be employed. Use the skills you have acquired to
better your livelihood and of those around you,” he says.

He advises young people, who he describes as the drivers of innovation and change, to take
full advantage of this and prove to the naysayers that they are not liability but the key
catalysts for development.

3. be holistic: Modernism is advocating for specialisation in the job market, but this does not mean that
we confine ourselves to a particular knowledge. Sometimes turbulence comes and you lose your job, the
only job you are skilled in. Despite being a business man, Kirubi’s inspirational writing ‘Ask Kirubi’ on
Capital FM, is a prove that learning an extra skill in life will not limit your capabilities in the
professional world.
In fact, it might be an eye opener that will lead you to higher heights of success. Employers will prefer
holistic candidates who can cover certain gaps in case the ‘main’ employee is not there.

4. Network: This is one basic requirement for success. Alone, you cannot succeed, as you need others
in form of advisers, business partners, customers, suppliers, lenders, friends and even competitors.
Having these, you can easily thrive since they challenge you to the right path.

“Africa has numerous opportunities, but remembers you cannot thrive alone. If you stand alone, you
stand little or no chance of survival. But if you partner, merge your resources with other like-minded
people then you will be able to attract bigger opportunities and the investment you need,” says Kirubi.

5. Never be discouraged: Having gone an extra mile to acquire a new skill, having a positive attitude,
being holistic and having a good network does not guarantee a seamless path to success. You might
even be faced with bigger hurdles since you are destined for something unusual, something greater. This
calls for patience in your endeavours. So many companies, institutions and even potential employers
will turn you down, but this should be a motivation for you to go an extra mile.

He says, no one should limit your potential. Show an employer, investor, leader etc. how you can add
value and be productive. “The moment you limit yourself then that will be the beginning of your
failure,” he says. “Increase the competitiveness and productivity of yourself and that of your generation
so that together you can drive the leadership and economic development of your country and Africa. If I
don’t invest in your business then move on to the next investor. Work on your flaws and eventually
someone will recognize your worth.”

8 Signs You Were Meant To Be An Entrepreneur

Do you think you have what it takes to venture out on your own?

We have this culture in Kenya where we have been made to believe that entrepreneurs can only
come from a certain tribe or geographical area.

You have probably held back on your dream of being your own boss because, for some reason, you
think that you can’t make it in the entrepreneur world like so and so.

I know you know a few people; you were probably in school with who ventured out on their own and
are now five hundred steps before you.
I believe for a fact that anyone can become an entrepreneur. You don’t feel so motivated?

Here are the tell-tale signs that you were born to be a boss and not the employee.

Signs That You Have What It Takes To Venture Out On Your Own

Entrepreneurship is all about taking risks. From my own experience, I have understood that you can
do anything as long as you put your mind to it.

1. You come from a family of people who couldn’t work for someone else

Most entrepreneurs – but not all come from a family of people who couldn’t handle working for
one another.

Your parents have probably been their own bosses all their life. This could be a sign that you were
meant to tread the entrepreneur path.

2. You really hate the status quo

If you are the kind of person who has always questioned why people do what they do, then you are a
born entrepreneur.

People who hate the status quo are always striving to change things for the better.

3. Self- confidence is your second name

Have you ever met an entrepreneur who always has negative thoughts and doesn’t believe that they
can succeed?

If you are the kind of person who believes they can break through any barriers, then congratulations,
go be your own boss.

4. You are passionate

Are there times you spend so much time and energy on something even though you don’t make a
cent from it. That’s passion and it’s one of the characters every successful entrepreneur has.

You have to love what you do and that’s a fact.

5. You never take no for an answer

Even if things don’t seem to work out, you keep pushing until you see results.
Entrepreneurs never give. If they did, the world would be a pretty boring place to live in.

6. You have the ability to create partnerships from nowhere

This is typical, you sees someone and you think of ways you can partner with such a person for
a lucrative business.

Nothing is the ordinary for you. For instance, if you see a person selling mtumba or vegetables, your
mind instantly goes to how you can partner and be supplying for them in wholesale.

That a good business person.

7. You are never the employee of the year

You have always been a lousy employee and have probably been fired a couple of times. You don’t
have to beat yourself up for that because you are not alone.

Most entrepreneurs do not have the patience to work for someone else and they will end up being
fired several times before they venture out on their own.

8. Your role models are great entrepreneurs

I am talking about the likes of Chris Kirubi, Erick Kinoti and many others who are running
successful enterprises.

Instead of reading fantasy novels like other people, you are always looking for entrepreneur books
and following stories of these successful entrepreneurs.

You are the first one to know that Chris Kirubi is planning on launching the biggest shopping mall in
East Africa before construction even begins.

That’s the mind of a great entrepreneur and it’s about time you did something about it.

Being an entrepreneur takes courage and passion and the ability to take risks. If you have any of
the qualities described above, then it’s time you started that business.

Chris Kirubi’s narrow path to success

Chris Kirubi has a cold. But he has had worse. He is in his residence recovering from that dreadful
disease that we will not validate by mentioning by name. (He does not mention it by name either for
the two hours it took to interview him. So, neither shall we).
On this beautiful sunwashed afternoon, he is shuffling around the grounds of his residence where he has
lived for the last 30 years, past a lawn so green it looks like a magician’s illusion. There are
construction workers all over. He is constructing his dream home at 79.

His age, however, belies what he is wearing now; a red half-sleeve bomber jacket and a matching
red Ferrari cap. Although frail by body, when he speaks his voice ferries out his strong, boisterous
spirit inside. It is like watching a grass thatched roof catch fire.

You do not sit on the fence with Kirubi, he polarises public opinion. He forces you to take a stand
because he is many things to many people; an uber businessman, industrialist, deejay, farmer, Yin and
yang, purveyor of hedonism, philanthropist, exhibitionist — whatever floats your boat, really. He
cares little.

He speaks repeatedly about “being true to self” when he sits with NEEMA SALERI for a chat at
his residence; lucid, sharp, cocky, reflective, blunt, unbowed, only taking short breaks to sip hot
dawa through a curved green straw.

In what ways do you think falling sick has changed you and the people around you?

One thing I’ve come to discover is that in the end you’re alone. Your friends may love you, but
eventually you have to deal with your sickness personally. You think about the past, the things that you
could have done, the things that you have not done, and what you can do to compensate for things you
ignored. It is a time of reflection. And prayers from friends do help, a lot.

Being in a good hospital, with good doctors, adds a certain value to your life. I was just wondering what
we can do to make sure, in a poor country like Kenya, everybody receives the best treatment possible
rather than mass treatment. Because to tell you the truth, if I had been here maybe by now I would be
long gone.

Talking of which, it’s ironic that we’re all living towards our deaths. Are you more or less fearful
of death after this experience?

Death is rest. A rest from daily hustles. This is something that is irreversible. You’re born, you grow,
and you die. In the end, it doesn’t matter who you are. It doesn’t matter the age or what you do to try and
elongate your life. But at the same time, nobody wants to die.

What’s the best advice anyone has ever given you?

Be yourself and trust in yourself. I was very young.

Did you set out to be this man you are now, successful and making moves? What was your
ambition at 30?

I never set out to make lots of money. I grew up poor. So I always dreamt from very early on that one
day I’d make it. I believed in myself. I was disciplined. But I’m not yet successful. I have a dream. I still
have more hills to climb. I work more now in my home than I worked in the office. I have five to six
meetings in a day. Many people come to see me because I’m sick. My people want to come and consult
with me. I still run my companies. I’ve never switched off.

You mentioned that when you were growing up, you wanted to “make it.” What is that? How
did making it look in your books?

You’ve asked a critical question. And that question is based on who I am, what I was and what made
me believe that I could make it. It is the trust in myself. I knew if I worked hard, I would make it.

So when did you know you’ve made it?

I’m still trying to make it. I’m building my dream house. I built this house we’re sitting in 30 years ago.
I bought this land when this area had only white settlers. Roger Whittaker’s (who sang “My Land is
Kenya”) parents lived across the bottom of my plot. To be successful you must trust yourself. Don’t
believe in others’ judgement. Jesus Christ followed a very narrow path. The narrow path has its own
challenges, but as long as you believe in yourself, you win. I don’t follow crowds. I only believe in one
person; Chris Kirubi.

You still work even now when most would imagine you’d slow down. What are you
working towards now? What are you working for? Obviously, it’s not money.

I work for achievement.

Have you not achieved?

No. I’m sure in your pocket you have one of my products. A medical card, a smart card... There is no
medical insurer that isn’t using my smart application. My ICT company has nearly two million
subscribers. I look forward to having four million and I’m sure by the time I have four million, I’ll
want to have six million more. Why? Because I contribute to people’s wellness.

You bought land here 30 years ago and built a nice house. Now you want to build another
beautiful home. You have two million subscribers and want to grow them to four million. Would
you say making money is akin to chasing your tail, a never-ending cycle?
It’s ambition. Ambition is what makes life. The day you have no ambition you die inside. Anybody
who says they’re successful, they’re satisfied, will not live long, they will get in a coma,
metaphorically. So, ambition is part of living.

You have to continue being ambitious. There is always another hill to climb and you don’t see the end.
Success is a mirage.

But how do you make sure that ambition doesn’t get harmful? That it doesn’t consume you like
a ball of fire?

(Chuckles) I’m not obsessed with money as such. I’m only interested in doing things that make sense. If
I’m doing activities that bring me wealth, well and good. We give many scholarships to poor students;
we just don’t make noise about it. We are doing a lot of work in Kilifi in this regard, a very poor county.

You have been doing business for dog years, how do you know that you will do business
with someone when you meet them?

(Pause) Instinct. I ask myself, ‘Do I feel I can trust you?’ However, I do business with international

companies. I don’t like problems with people as might often happen when doing business.

Newspapers refer to you as a “mogul”. As a mogul, do you know how much you’re worth or
you stopped counting?

I also don’t know what a mogul is. (Laugher in the room) If people are not calling you a thief, a liar,
then you don’t have to worry. If they’re calling you a mogul, a billionaire, you are being blessed with
that wisdom to become one if you’re not already one.

I’m very proud that people think I’m a billionaire. It comes with perks, people answer my calls. Why?
Because that is Dr Kirubi calling. But it’s important to continue developing yourself so that you do not
let down the press that has accorded you that title. (More laughter).

You forgot to answer the other bit of the question - whether you know how much you are worth…

I don’t know. I never count. Counting means looking back and I don’t look back.

Contentment and happiness. What is the relationship of these two in your books?

Contentment is a yardstick of what you want to achieve. Happiness is an illusion. It’s what we all look
for but describe differently. Is it flying your own plane? Is it driving a good car? Is it sitting with friends
and talking? Is it drinking wine?
Happiness is in your mind.

Are you happy?

From time to time, yes. But what I know for sure is that you can only attain true happiness when
you make others happy.

A man of your stature, I suppose that you always have many people you meet wanting
something from you. What’s the one thing that you find most people want from you?

(Scoffs) Money. Mostly. Some want jobs or access to it. People usually want help to succeed.

How does that make you feel?

Proud and powerful that there are people that can trust me. That I can solve their problems. It gives
me incentive to help them. Giving makes me happier than receiving.

I’m reading a book by Richard Reed, titled “If I Could Tell You Just One Thing…Encounters
With Remarkable People…” What’s the one thing you can tell me about anything?

Believe in yourself.. It’s really up to you in the end, not anyone else.

What's the biggest failure in your life?

Not to have been a mogul by now. (Laughter in the room) I’m on a journey which no one can distract.
I’m satisfied with where I am going.

Today I can order a new car from a dealer, they will send it to me. But is my ambition to order two
or three cars? I’m not wasteful, I want to feel there’s nothing I want I can’t get.

When I want to look for better healthcare, I want to be able to fly to go see a good doctor. That is
my satisfaction of wealth, that when the need arises you can meet those needs.

Are you closer to God now or less closer?

I’m closer to God now because I’ve believed without God’s will I could not be who I am today. It took
me many months lying in bed sick to believe that God is most powerful. And it’s a shame we always go
to God when we need Him, but God will never turn you away because you came to Him later rather
than earlier. God is merciful and forgiving.

Is there one thing you’d like to change about yourself?

To stop working so much. I don’t know how to. I don’t know how to switch off. When I was sick in
the US, I was still making calls. I didn’t know how to lie in my bed and be sick.

I want to learn to be more satisfied with the little I have.

Of all your companies, and they are many, if they were to be taken away with the exception of
one, which one would you save? Which one is after your own heart?

My my my. (Chuckles) I don’t know. I’ve never thought of that. (Pause) I don’t see it as saving a
company or my favourite company, but as my relationships with individuals. It’s about relationships,
not the companies.

How do you feed your mind at 79?

By the constant and intentional belief that I can do anything I did at 25.

You’re building a massive dream home, have you thought of marriage, someone to share it with?

Marriage comes to you and it is a blessing, but you don’t go chasing it around because you will get
the wrong partner. If I’m blessed then I will be blessed.

What do you think is your one unique true talent?

Thinking. I think positively. I also analyse things very quickly. I see patterns where people don’t and
I connect them before they have figured it out.

Last question, are you a good person?

It depends on what people think.

What do you think?

What is good? That is a very broad question.

Do you have a good soul?

I’ll have to sit with my pastor and discuss that. He will be able to tell if my soul is clean or rotten. I
mean, you tell me, you have interviewed me. Am I a good interviewee?

You are.

There you go.
