23. To check the axis of rotation, choose Axis of Rotation/Flow Direction from the Tools menu.

The Axis of Rotation/Flow Direction dialog box appears.

24. For this case, select Z for the axis of rotation and R+ for the flow direction.
To help distinguish the flow directions of the blades, select the Show rotation lines check box to
view the rotations lines in the workspace window.
25. Click OK.
26. From the File menu, choose Write Output Files.
27. In the Save as dialog box, specify the file name, save the output as a Blade Surface file (*.sur) in a
desired location, and click Save.
28. Start the AxCent program (Start – All Programs – Concepts – AxCent).
Recommended: Minimize the CADTranslator program window in case you need to return to
CADTranslator to make more adjustments.
29. From the AxCent File menu, choose Start from CADFIT.
30. In the Open dialog box, select the surface file that you saved, and click Open.
The AxCent Fitting Method dialog box appears.
