1. Write the four major distinctions between storage and


memory (RAM).
RAM is faster than storage. Storage is relatively slower
than RAM. RAM can access data and information instantly. As
mechanical devices, they cannot access or modify data as fast as
the memory.

2. What is Recycle Bin?


Recycle bin is a holding area of the files that users delete from their computer’s
storage devices.

3. What is pixel, screen resolution?


A pixel is the smallest unit of a digital image or graphic that can be displayed
and represented on a digital display device. Pixel is a small dot of color that
forms a digital image on a scree and Screen Resolution is the total number
of horizontal and vertical pixels that a display device shows on the screen. A
screen with a larger resolution has a smaller pixel size which allows
displaying the image with finer details and the image appears sharper and
clearer.

4. What is Task Manager?


Task Manager is an interface which displays real time information
about the computers performance and programs running on the
computer. The performance tab of task manager usually shows
real time graphs of CPU, RAM, Storage and Network usage. The
possible ways to access Task Manager on windows operating
system is to right click on task bar and click on Task Manager or
press CTRL + ALT + DELETE and choose Task Manager.

interface that displays icons for system and program
features that have no presence on the main display
area. The notification area also often has the time
and the volume icon.
